Day 21, Easter!

Here are some shots from our very fun Easter Sunday.

17, 18, 19 and 20

Ugh, nasty sickness in the house has had us all down for the count the past week. There were some bright spots and I'm glad I'm doing this 365 to capture them! Here are the shots from those days.

Day 16

Happy First Birthday to my Mimi-girl! The party is next month so we could combine hers with her sister Kitty's but we had to do her very first cupcake today! <3 I think she liked it.

Days 13, 14 and 15

I took them, just didn't get  around to posting over the weekend. :)

Day 12

Anna got a major haircut and highlights today! It is SO cute! What a lovely girl I have!

Day 10

Today we attempted Cake Pops for Kit and Mimi's upcoming birthday party. Fortunately, this was a test run. I couldn't find my lolly sticks so they became cake balls. Then, I added too much frosting couldn't get them to coat properly. Ah, SO glad this was a test run. :) Still, they were out of this world yummy and fun to make!

Baked the cake and put it in a mixing bowl.

Crumbled the cake.

Whipped up some strawberry buttercream icing.

 Added the icing to the cake crumbles.

Kit was "helping"! 

Rolled into balls and placed on wax paper.

After chilling I heated up the chocolate. 

 Rolled the balls in the chocolate and used some large Wilton sprinkles.

Overall, we had  a blast. Next time I'll use less icing and freeze the balls before coating but it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon and hang out with my little girl!
